Technology Overview

The US Department of Defense has requested that ShotSpotter limit dissemination of detailed information regarding its gunshot location technology.  For that reason, this section is not publicly accessible.  Please contact ShotSpotter directly for more information.

The technology has guided police to three homicides in Southeast Washington, and in one case officers got there rapidly enough to make an arrest.
